In the QA Engineer role. You will take ownership of quality for a key product area, working closely with Product and Engineering to ensure every release delivers real value to our merchants.
You will be involved end-to-end — from early requirement understanding and risk assessment, to test strategy, AI-assisted automation, execution, and release confidence — ensuring product quality directly supports merchant adoption, operational reliability, and revenue impact.
This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone who wants to move fast, think beyond test cases, and understand how quality decisions affect customer experience, scalability, and business growth across Southeast Asia.
What you will do:
- Use AI tools to accelerate the creation and optimization of automated test scripts.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for Web UI, Mobile (iOS/Android), and API testing.
- Participate in requirement reviews and define test strategies for products across SEA markets.
- Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing to support rapid releases.
- Investigate, log, and track defects to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Improve automation coverage, test reliability, and execution efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with product, development, and QA teams across regions using Mandarin.
- Contribute to process improvement as we transition toward a financial service ecosystem.
- Proactive, ownership-driven, and accountable for product quality.
- Curious and eager to learn, especially in AI-driven testing
- Result-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility for problem resolution and system reliability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced

- Open-minded and adaptable as the company transitions
- 3–5 years of hands-on QA or test automation experience.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman/Newman, RestAssured).
- Ability to use AI tools to generate, debug, or optimize automation scripts.
- Experience in Web UI, Mobile, and API automation.
- Mandarin proficiency for cross-region communication.
- Experience using Git and version control workflows.
What is nice to have:
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience in performance or security testing.
- Ability to design scalable testing frameworks or architectures.
- FinTech or payments domain knowledge (a huge plus as we expand into FSP).
